Privacy policy
Who we are. SGM Facilities Group ("we", "us") provides commercial cleaning and facilities services from Chelmsford, Essex. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are the data controller for the information described below.
What we collect. When you send a quote request through this site, we ask for your business name, location, your name, phone number, email address, the services you are interested in, and anything you add in your message.
How we use it. We use your details only to handle your enquiry: to contact you, arrange a survey and provide a written quote. You may receive an email confirming we have received your request. We do not sell your details or share them with anyone for marketing.
Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it: which pages are viewed, on what kind of device, and roughly where from. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. We use the reports only to improve the site, and we do not use advertising cookies or sell this information. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without affecting how the site works, and Google offers an opt-out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Where it is processed. This website and its enquiry system are operated for us by Signal42, our website partner. Enquiry details are stored securely on Cloudflare infrastructure, and confirmation emails are sent through a trusted email delivery service. These providers process data only on our instructions.
How long we keep it. We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and for reasonable business record keeping. If you ask us to delete your details and we no longer need them, we will.
Your rights. Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, or limit how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, call or text 07591 865 192. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If we change this policy, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
